Covid-19 : Securing our Seniors
As the world comes to grips with quarantining and self isolation, Seniors facilities and Retirement homes are closing their doors in an effort to protect their residents.
The Coronavirus may be nothing more than the average flu to some, but to some it can be deadly. Those with compromised immune systems and the elderly are most at risk during these uncertain times.
While some people may assume they are fine and feel the need to constantly place themselves in the public, the risk isn’t so much themselves, but who they may pass this on too.
And for this reason, Retirement homes have no choice but to protect their most valuable assets – their residents.
While life must continue inside the buildings with staff caring for their elderly patrons, providing meals, necessity’s of life, and even basic activities to keep everyone occupied and positive, having a normal member of staff to stand watch at the doors may not be the best or even a viable option.
Allowing an outside party, such as ourselves, handle the responsibility for you – you’re allowing the focus of your staff to remain on the every day duties required to run a building.
Our Security team is experienced and trained and has been providing assistance to retirement homes and similar organizations with advice and on-site assistance providing support and ways to allow the staff to handle their day to day responsibilities.
We are restricting access and redirecting any visitors.
We are providing customer service to keep visitors minds at ease while being that direct line of communication between employees and residents on site, and them – the visitor.
We are assisting staff in the event that there is a staffing shortage due to illness or quarantine.
We are providing asset and building security so we can be the eyes on the facility, so you can look after what matters most – those inside.
