Once again we find ourselves in the fortunate and unfortunate position of bidding farewell to a couple more of our Sentinel family as they move further along their career paths and into a Policing career.
While we find ourselves in this position quite a bit, we find these moments bittersweet.
Our team has moved on to joining the likes of York Regional Police, Toronto Police, and Durham Police to name a few. Each one of them taking a little bit of the Sentinel pride and using it as a building block to propel themselves into a bright and hopeful future in the Policing industry.
We are grateful for all of the moments, time, and effort that each and every member of our team brings while they are a part of us.
These are people that take their job seriously. They put thought into each and every action and reaction.
They are trained, qualified, and continue to broaden their scope. Learning new skills and traits as often as they can. Sponges soaking up the knowledge of the Security world.
We take pride in our work, and we take pride in the future of our team.
When we’re planning for our future and the future of our company, training is a big part of our plan. Training, growing, learning, and moving up the ladder.
While we do have plans in place for training and career advancement of our team, we’re not always thinking small.
We think big picture. How can our team help others – where could they go if they continue along their career paths and how can we help them to achieve their goals?
While part of us will always selfishly hope that these thriving members of the security community are ours to keep forever, we know that this is not always the case.
Everyone has hopes and dreams and if we are a stepping stone in their life, then we’re happy to be able to give back and help prepare them for the future and know that we had a hand in helping them achieve success.
We’re not only preparing people for a potential career in the policing field, we are working directly with the police at times. And by being in their direct field of vision, they’re constantly aware of who we are, how we function, and what our standards are.
They’re noticing that we’re not like an average security company. We go beyond.
We go beyond in our work, our training, our efforts, and our careers.
We put our clients first.
We value education, training, and continuous learning.
Learning never ends – and we want people that embrace that and are yearning for more.
For those interested in a future in Policing – we want to be a part of your journey.
We want to help you get noticed.
We want you to learn, grow, and succeed.
We have the tools, and the means to embrace, develop, motivate and propel you into not just our future, but yours.
Why waste the time in waiting for your future to knock on your door.
Go out, hunt it down, and show it what you can do and what you will do.
Its your future, and we are here to help you take it on.
