Shepherding to Greatness

One of the things we try hard to succeed at in our industry and our organization, is what has been dubbed – ‘shepherding to greatness’.

As a company that embraces our team as if they were our own family, its important to see that each and every one that steps through our doors succeeds.

We are very aware of how everyone has and is entitled to their own hopes, goals, and dreams.

We embrace them and do our best to nurture them to the best of our abilities. When we are able, we cultivate possibilities that may open more doors in an effort to moving closer to fulfilling these goals.

A large percentage of our staff has interviewed and been very upfront in their goal to get into policing. We have always felt that security is a logical stepping stone in the path to a career in policing.

With our ties to the policing industry partnered with our training programs and on site responsibilities, we happily celebrate each and every Sentinel family member that has graced us with their presence before moving into policing.

Our multifaceted client base is rich in preparation for a career in law enforcement.

While a lot have stepped through our doors as part of their journey, we have a lot that have envisioned policing to be their goal career, only to realize their dreams have shifted or altered to remain in security – at least that little bit longer.

By remaining in the security industry – your goal doesn’t have to end on the front lines (although it certainly can).

At Sentinel, with our diverse client base and wide range of security details – the security world is your oyster.

We offer training when it comes to events, health care, tactical, close protection, red carpet, and executive protection. And we encourage our team to get involved in as much or as little as they choose.

The more skills and the more training goes hand in hand with growth and opportunity.

We are motivated to bring as many of our team through as much development as possible and continuously shepherd our team to a wide variety of leadership roles and responsibilities.

As we continue to grow as a company and a business, our range of opportunity for development and advancement continues to grow as well.

In these next few weeks, we will be embarking on an exciting new venture at a new space and as we have focused our efforts on hiring for this new division, we have focused equally on bringing more of our own tried and tested Sentinel family, once again through the ranks as we look for more leadership in this new venue.

And while our front line continues to grow, something that is equally important to maintain and develop, is a team behind them to support them in all other areas outside of the front lines.

Our office and management team is also continuously growing and developing.

In order to be a successful brand and business in this society and security culture, your defence needs to be just as strong as your offence. Just as we encourage growth and development on all client facing roles, our support pieces need to be just as strong as ever as we embark on these new adventures.

By maintaining and encouraging growth and development in precisely all areas of our company, we are able to continue success for both ourselves, and each individual that calls themself a Sentinel.

If you are a person who is goal orientated and task driven. A person who sees success as the only option.

A person that wants to not only stand out of the crowd, but encourage those around them to stand out as well.

A person that sees opportunity for what it is – doors opening to future successes.

Or even a person that is looking towards the path of policing and is wondering where to start.

We want to hear from you.

We are actively hiring and looking for like minded individuals to grow our thriving team.

So reach out – step up and join the ranks of greatness.
